University of Chicago police pushed back a line of pro-Palestinian protesters who gathered Tuesday (May 07) after their encampment was torn down in the early morning.
University police announced that student protesters had to leave their tent encampment on the university’s main quadrangle or be arrested and then moved in around 5 a.m. local time (10:00 GMT), according to ABC News Affiliate WLS.
