After working on a lot of these new Ready or Not scripts I’m finding these videos typically come out to be quite short. Given that I’m alternating between series’, one of which yields longer videos, I don’t want my RON Lore series fans waiting weeks before y’all get your lore fix. So, going forward I will be posting one Ready or Not lore video every Tuesday and when it would typically come out (that being every other Thursday) there will be two Ready or Not Videos.

So, for reference:

To give everyone an update, yes, there will be new Ready or Not lore videos dropping soon. Expect them early next month. A lot of lore has changed so I’ll be updating most, if not all, of the old lore videos starting with the new LSPD precinct and then subsequently going over each mission in order.

What better way to mark my 1-year YouTube anniversary than by hitting 5k subscribers! I can honestly say I am absolutely floored by all the traction I’ve been getting lately. I want to thank each and every one of you for everything. Whether you found me through my Halo, DC, or Ready or Not videos, your support means the world to me. I strive to improve with each and every video and any comment, critique, or criticism is always appreciated.

In the future expect a wide variety of content. I’ll keep with the Ready or Not videos every other week because I never want this channel to be labeled as one specific thing. There are so many topics I want to cover and I really don’t want to be grouped into one category of content creator. So expect topics ranging from Star Wars, DC, Marvel, Halo, Fallout, Mass Effect, or really any game or movie I’m into at the time.

Since YouTube is really pushing shorts, I’ve been in the process of workshopping some ideas that would be creatively fulfilling for me and entertaining for you all. So whenever I start to upload those videos, don’t expect cut-down and shorter versions of my normal videos. They will be newly recorded unique topics covered in a way that’s very different from what you’ve seen on my channel typically (i.e. I bought a green screen).

Once again, thank you all so much. Words can’t describe how happy I am that you have all been enjoying my content. Here’s to the next year and many more to come!

No video today, been pretty busy with finals this week and needed a bit of a break. Next week expect a Ready or Not video on Ides of March, followed by a video on Star Wars Visions Season 2.



For anyone new here, I upload Ready or Not lore videos every other week with a video essay on something else I’m interested in in between (video games, movies, comics, etc.). All uploads are on Thursday at 11 pst.

Hey guys, I just wanted to give you all a little update on the channel.

No video this week (it’s spring break and I’m definitely in need of a break), but going forward I’m going to be releasing Ready or Not lore videos every other week with something else film or video game related in between. I really don’t want to fall into that (insert franchise) only channel trap a lot of YouTubers fall into. I want to maintain a wide variety of diversity in my content so nothing feels stale on my channel.

Going forward I’m not going to be making any breaking news videos (i.e. James Gunn’s DC, N7 Day Teaser, etc.). I don’t want my videos to be timely and only relevant as long as the news is. I’m also going to try and make more editorial-type videos like The Great Deception That Was Halo 5 and Why the DCEU Failed. However, those take quite a long time to research and produce so don’t expect one every week, but hopefully once a month or at least every other month.

I’ve also had the realization that my channel talks a lot about storytelling and filmmaking, yet, I haven’t even shown you guys what I personally can do. At some point soon I’m planning on making a series called “Pitch Doc” where I write an actual pitch document and pitch to you guys an idea for a series or movie I have. For now, it’ll all be pre-existing IPs, but who knows, maybe at some point I’ll share some of the stories I’ve written (or you can just wait for my book 👀👀👀).

Thank you all so much for the love and support, it really means a lot to me. Any and all feedback you guys give is always appreciated and going forward I’m going to try to be a bit more communicative. Yall are the best, keep your eyes out for next week's Ready or Not video because if you thought the first episode was juicy, oh boy, you haven’t seen anything yet…
